If you live anywhere other than a big city, it's pretty neccessary to drive yourself. Most people from NYC it's normal to never drive, and also very expensive to register and upkeep a car there.

I didn’t get mine until I was 22. Was horribly scared of driving. Still can’t drive confidently on highways. 
I finally spent the money to take an adult driving course. It really helped me get the confidence to drive.

It’s normal in certain places. My cousin lives in New York City and she didn’t get her license until she was like 40. I didn’t get mine until I was 18 because I was scared of other drivers.

My older sister is almost 27 and just got her permit.

I’m 26 and have never even had my permit, I have very bad anxiety and just being in the passenger seat makes me overwhelmed. I’m just now getting ready to go do the permit test and see how I feel behind the wheel. Very scared though! 😫

me! i’m almost 25 and never even had my permit. i’ve always been terrified of driving and i now work at an insurance place and i get to hear all the lovely accidents everyday so that doesn’t help at all. 🙃 but i do want to start driving this summer. 🤞🏽

My dad is 46 and still doesn’t have his. He got a DUI at 15 with his permit, so he wasn’t able to get one until 2012, and even then, he still hasn’t.

Got mine at 20 because I realized it was easier to have one for many many reasons including if you ever have to drive someone else to the hospital was my biggest reason.
