What age did you move baby into their own room?

Not sure when to move my little one into his own room. He’s currently in a bassinet in our room. Im thinking maybe when I go back to work at 3m, but I know 6m is recommended.

Our pediatrician recommended a year, not just 6 months. I think he was like 13 months

We put her in her room at 1 week. We of course have cameras, nothing in crib, and kept checking on her. She has been sleeping 12 hours straight at night since 3 months. I'm due again though and they will be sharing rooms. We will probably keep the new baby in our room until she starts sleeping through the night. Don't want them to wake each other up..

6 months is the recommended minimum, but preferably until 1 year (by AAP guidelines). Even at 1 year I just didn’t feel we were ready so we waited a bit longer.

We do it when baby is sleeping through the night. It's easier on me and I can soothe her to sleep with out feeding her, helping her to learn to sleep through the night. She four months and is still up one to two times a night.

I waited until 12 months then my child passed away lil b4 he turned 13months. So with everything that happened my next child will be in my room until they can sleep in a toddler bed! He died of SUDS (sudden explained death) passed away 4days after his 12month vaccines!

Our daughter was six months. She slept in her Halo next to our bed until she was about three months old. Then she began sleeping in one of her pack-n-plays until she was six months. At six months, she began sleeping in her nursery.👌🏾

If you’re having to get ready for work in your room while baby should be asleep, I think it makes sense to move despite the recommendation. For months my husband had to be super quiet and get ready by flashlight haha
