Going back to work in a month and trying to find childcare. We had childcare set up before he was born, but it fell through due to the lady running it needing shoulder surgery. Having a lot of trouble finding a place that will take an infant. We want to use an in-home day care. We interviewed one lady, and we liked everything except her house did not seem safe. There were pans piled high on the stove, prescription drugs on the edge of the counter, and no door or gate to the basement stairs. Our little one isn’t walking yet, so they wouldn’t be a hazard yet, but I’m still uneasy about it. I don’t know if we have any other option at this point though.
