I feel terrible complaining, like honestly I could have a nasty mother in law but I don’t, she’s lovely to me, highly emotional so you have to tread lightly sometimes but does anyone have a mother in law that’s too helpful, she will visit (she lives interstate) and basically takes over the laundry, I’m quite particular with my washing and our washing machine is on it’s way out and everything has to be washed on a pre wash setting so it basically double washes and if you don’t do that the clothes come out dirty still, but my mother in law keeps forgetting this and puts the detergent in the wrong spot and the clothes come out smelly so I have to re-wash them but I have to do it without her noticing as she will get upset. In the past I’ve literally had fights with my husband cause I’ve told her not to wash the clothes and she’s gotten upset so now I just let her do it but re-do it when she’s not looking. It drives me crazy! And now an she’s gone home and I’ve noticed an expensive work shirt I just purchased and worn twice is missing, can’t find it anywhere, I tried asking her if she remembers where she put it and she got upset, hubby is angry with me and doesn’t understand why I’m getting upset and I’m angry with him cause he won’t back me up and just tell her to relax cause she’s on holidays and let me do the washing. I know it’s just the friken washing but agh it’s driving me crazy!

Oh and don’t get me started on the washing of the dishes, she pretty much just dips the stuff in the sink and doesn’t scrub so I have to go back and re-wash them, but again whilst she’s not looking so she doesn’t get upset, and god forbid I didn’t let her do it in the first place she will get upset too.
