Diva Cup??

So I got a diva cup or a period cup or whatever you want to call it. Is it really better than using tampons? Are they hard to use? Any advice would be great

The first two cycles for me were frustrating. It will probably take a while to get used to inserting and removing it correctly but if you persist, I feel like it’s one of the best changes I’ve ever made in my life. Also remember that menstrual cups come in many sizes and shapes so if one is just not working for you there are many many others to try. I have been using a Diva cup for years with success and recently added a Meluna cup to try. I liked both. I suggest trying a Meluna cup if the one you bought doesn’t work for you, they have tons of variety depending on your body shape and cervix height. You will probably have odd days, for example, I have been experiencing leaks on day one of my period ever since going off the pill, as in the cup doesn’t seem to be suctioning properly anymore. Apparently stopping the pill has changed me or my flow in some way where I might have to try a different cup. But overall, if you get the hang of it, it’s amazing to be able to go all day without worrying about changing a pad or tampon and better for the environment and your wallet.

There is a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it’s great. I’ve been using the Diva Cup for 10 years. It’s been life changing.
