When did you start taking Primrose?

My ob advised me to take eveprimrose via oral 2x a day starting my 37W mark. 
How about you? Whats your experience? When did you start your labor after taking it?

I’ve been taking two orally and 1 vaginally since 36 weeks. I’m now 38w2d and I went from a high closed cervix to 70% effaced, low soft cervix 2 cm dilated. No way to know for sure that it’s the pills as I drink raspberry leaf tea and bounce on my yoga ball as well but something is working!

Does anyone know the dose? As in the milligrams per pill when you say you’re taking one or two or whatever? At the store near me they have 1,000mg in one and about 2,000 mg in another. I’ve seen one that was 1300mg too. Thanks!

At my appointment on Tuesday my OB said she wanted to check me and then discuss possibly starting to take it. I’ll be exactly 37 weeks when I go in.

I’m 38+4 days. I started taking it a few days ago. I take it twice orally, once in the AM and once afternoon. I take the third one vaginally before bed. 
I’m already 1.5-2cm dilated but not effaced at all so I’m hoping it helps. Will know in two days at my next appointment.
