Period from hell😩

I’ve bled through a super tampon in about an hour 5-6 different times today and I’m cramping sooo bad. I’m also on birth control, and my period has been irregular and lasting 2 weeks each month for the last 5 months🤦🏼‍♀️ is this normal? Should I call my doctor?
