Anyone in a similar situation?

So 5 years ago I came off the pill. My period took about three months to come back and ever since my menstrual cycles have been 40-60 days. Before going on the pill my periods we're regular (28-30 days). My doctors keep telling me nothing is wrong and looked at me strange in the past (when I wasn't trying to conceive) as to why I was concerned about these long cycles. Now my husband and I are wanting to start having babies and I have no idea when I'm ovulating or if I'm ovulating at all. Anyone else have these kind of periods and have any tips for regulating them/conceiving? I'm trying to stay calm and not freak out that the pill ruined my body and having children will be difficult or impossible.
