Weird cycle this month

So my period just went off last Monday. It was on for 9 days(much longer than usual) and it was very light.. never filed a tampon each day. So that was weird. It went off last Monday (12/31). Yesterday i started seeing spotting and this morning it looks I have a whole period starting again. It’s only been a week ..what does this mean? Why am i having almost what seems to be two periods ?
