wtf is my birth control doing to me
So i started taking the birth control sprintec. I got my birth control from that app nurx which professionly provides birth control with no insurance needed. I chose to go down that route because I live in a very conservative house hold and my parents are also very strict. I'm not open at all with them and I don't plan to be because they can be so controlling and judgmental it makes me afraid to tell them anything so they have no idea that Im sexually active. I wanted to go on birth control because a) my period cycle is a mess and b) I'm tired of paying for plan b if there is ever a slip up or if me and my man just don't want to wear a condom. I'm afraid to go to my gyno to even get a consultation because my visit will show up on the insurance bill (my parents, especially my mom, are so controlling that I, at 20 years old, have never been to a regular check up at the gyno. She thinks check ups are only for those who are sexually active and I'm afraid to ask to set one up bc she knows of my relationship and may jump to conclusions. She's been at every appointment gyno i've been to and won't even give me the privacy to answer those very personal questions the doctor always asks) Nurx does require you to answer some medical questions before prescribing you a type of birth control their reviews are good and their customer service is fast and amazing so I trust what they prescribed me. I just started about two weeks ago when my period start and honestly it feels like i've been pmsing all that time. My friends who also take bc say the first month is always the worst but I don't even feel like myself anymore and on top of that i think im having my period again! I've been spotting and cramping a lot like i do when it usually comes but It hasn't even been 14 days since my last one! I have no idea what this bc is doing to my body and i hope that my friends are right when they say things will go smoothly after the first month. Does anyone else take Sprintec? I know no body's are the same but if you do tell me what you think of it overall
