I have no clue when to start with my son. He’s turning 2 next month and does not communicate well at all. (My husband and step son both didn’t talk until very late so I’m not concerned. Just frustrated. 😂) So because my son doesn’t have conversations with us yet, I have no idea how to begin ANY processes including a toddler bed. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just waiting patiently for my son to find a reason to chat. 😂

I had planned on starting at 2.5y but my daughter asked to use the potty a month or two after turning 2 so we ran with it. As soon as she asked, we went of full force potty training. Got rid of the diapers the same day and started using underwear. She was fully day potty trained in less than a week. Still uses nightime pullups but will occasionally wake up to use the bathroom

We have 4 kids. 1 girl and 3 boys. My husband had our oldest potty trained by 2 (she's my bonus daughter) so not sure when he started. But with our 2 oldest boys, we just started around 16 months or so introducing them to the potty and had them completely potty trained by 2. Our youngest son is 20 months and we are working on potty training now. He tells us when he poops and pees and likes to sit on the potty whenever I am  but hasn't gone pee or poop in the potty yet lol. It's on his time but he is very interested with so many boys around here using the potty he wants to do it too. 😂 So we will see. The goal is 2 though since 3 out of 3 were potty trained by then.

My lo is 18 months, and she’s showing signs she’s ready, but I haven’t tried to start yet. She doesn’t have the patience to sit on the potty.

My son is 22 months old. He was ready at 20 months and now only wears a diaper or pull up at nap time and bedtime. Every child is different though, just don’t rush them when they have no interest. My son would take his pants and diaper off and need to ‘pee pee’. I put underwear on him and that was it. He’s had a few accidents but we got lucky with him. His older brother (4) was closer to 3 when he was potty trained completely. It was a hard road with him.
