First TMO move? 🚚 📦

Okay so we’ve moved before but we did everything ourselves, so I have no idea what to expect for this move.. Does TMO move your things along with another families? I keep hearing about people losing stuff and other families ending up with some of their boxes. Or is that just an OCONUS vs CONUS thing?

Answer

Your things will be placed in a huge semi truck...with multiple other families. If things are lost, damaged or stolen...when you receive your goods you will be given a form to keep track of those things and insurance claims will be filed and damaged goods that can be replaced or fixed will be given an estimate and you'll receive a check, so to speak. If your truck gets to the final destination before you do...your things will go into storage until they can be delivered to your new address.  They will not pack or move liquids of any kind or candles. So, body wash, lotions, etc...you take with you in your personal vehicle.
