Letrozole works?

Has anyone who already ovulated every month had success on Letrozole? We are doing our second round of letrozole and timed intercourse and I’m having a hard time not feeling like it’s a waste of time and money since I ovulate every month anyway.

I just completed my second round of 2.5 in December. The first round my boobs got really sore right before I started. I did however get high and peak ovulation test which I have never got before! I am currently 7 days late and still haven’t got a positive pregnancy test. I hope I am pregnant but doubtful, and feel like the famera is messing with my cycle.

It’s didn’t work for me to get pregnant, I tried it for 14 months. 3 months with iui. I did have more eggs and had a higher progesterone level. But even with all that I didn’t get pregnant and my husband has a normal count.

I got pregnant my third cycle of Letrozole 7.5. It unfortunately ended in loss. I tried three cycles after that and didn’t have success so tried an IUI.
I did ovulate earlier on the meds and it felt like my follicles were a little bigger. Hard to say if that made the difference for us.

I just did my first month of letrozole, I ovulated on my own as well and the month before. Thursday I get my bloodwork pregnancy test.. no symptoms really yet.. so fingers crossed.   Have you guys done a laparoscopy?

No success yet but I totally get your concerns...
I took Letrozole for the second time this cycle (still in the 2WW).  I already produce a great dominate follicle on my own each cycle, as well as ovulate on my own.  We choose to go from timed intercourse, including monthly ultrasounds (no meds), to trying medicated IUI cycles.
My first month on Letrozole, I produced two dominant follicles instead of one.  I took 2.5mg and that little bit seemed to do the job of stimulating my ovaries.  This month I only managed to produce one dominant follicle.  I was a bit bummed because I was already doing this on my own.  
I’ve heard success stories and decided to give it a few months since it certainly isn’t doing any harm at this point.  I did experience some side effects, and though annoying, nothing I couldn’t deal with.
It’s tough to make these decisions.  My personal advice: go with your gut instinct.  I know easier said than done LOL.
