What to expect seeing a specialist ? & progesterone shots

What would I expect at my first specialist visit , I know for sure and ultrasound . but anything else ? 
Shot are to prevent pre term .
With the shots my obgyn said she will likely start at 19 weeks , but did you get them weekly or twice a week ? I'm going in to my obgyn clinic ; idk if that will make a diffrence.

Not the right shots but I also would say shots, shots shots on shot day.

With my 2nd baby I started them at 16 weeks and took them once a week until 36 weeks. I was able to do the shots at home.
With this baby I will also start them at 16 weeks and take them once a week until 36 weeks. But this time they are making me come to the doctor to have the shots done. I just they just want my doctor visit co-pay once a week.
Also, with my 2nd and now with this baby I had ultrasounds done every 2 weeks from 16-24weeks to measure my cervix because if it was thining they would have done a cerclage. So it didn't happen with the 2nd praying it won't happen with this baby.
