Anyone getting a tubal sterilization done after giving birth?

Were doing the snip and I think I’ll get a tubal. I’m really scared of PTLS though. 😱

I am, I’m about 95% sure. My OB told me I have till 35 weeks to let him know if I’m having it done with my c section so he can make sure he takes an extra 15 minutes in the OR. I just checked with my insurance and fortunately for me it’s covered at 100% as the procedure is $9300. 2 weeks to make a final decision.

Vasectomy. Much less risk than a tubal.

I wouldn’t considering all the risks. But my hubby may get snipped in a few years. Idk if we are done having babies or not! I’m 28 and he’s 31. I think we are going to wait until I’m 33-34 before making that decision.

If I have a C-Section yes will be doing a tubal sterilization done. If I don’t have a C-Section, then the hubs will be getting snipped. 😍 we have a 6 yr old daughter and pregnant with a boy so one of each....we are good!

Vasectomy. If a vasectomy fails you end up with a baby. If a tubal fails there's a much higher chance of ectopic pregnancy and I don't want to go through that.
