What are some ideas on thank you gifts to get your OB after they deliver your baby?

Their gift from me is the $$$$ I’m paying her to walk in the last 30 minutes of me pushing and catch my baby. My nurse deserved more than I could give her. She’s the real champ.

If you do a gift it has to be for the floor or a general gift at the nursrs station Nurses and doctors can accept gifts unless its done that way

I wrote a little card thanking the staff for taking care of my son & I and included a little photo of us w/ my boyfriend, along with some cookies. I did this for the labor & delivery floor, my midwife’s office aaand the mom & baby floor lol.. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the staff though, (despite having a traumatic birth) and it meant a lot to me to show my gratitude. I think it’s lovely to do a little something if you feel up to it, but not at all required/ expected, etc. 🙃

We didn’t get my OB anything specific but we did send an Italian cookie platter to the office for staff to share and enjoy. My OBs practice is fairly small and my OB knows everyone by name and treats you like family.

I knitted mittens for my midwife, she told me several times how she love them.

I got six local pies from our small town pie shop and attached an announcement card. I also wrote personal thank you cards/recognition to all the nurses and gave to the hospital. We were so grateful!

We got our midwife a necklace like this as a thank you! She loved it, and when I went back because I was having large clotting, she was wearing it!❤ lol I seriously love that women she saved my baby and I more than 1 time, and is just such a peaceful person and just genuinely caring...you can tell she does her job out of love for others, and baby snuggles after delivery! Lol
