Sometimes it doesn’t require a doctor, I don’t see anything wrong with looking for advice as long as they tmi the photos and flag the post by saying tmi in the title

I’m not bothered by it personally but it is against the rules. And if someone is really concerned with something going on down there it’s safer to go to the doctors than listen to strangers on the internet.

I don’t mind but when they post “what is this??” you click on it, and a vagina pops up and your kids or husband are sitting next to you.... I mean I’m usually like “Woah! Wasn’t expecting that!” A little bit more of a title would be nice lol

Not every concern is a medical emergency. So yes while these people should go to the doctor, certain times aren’t the best to visit a general practitioner. It’s against the rules of the community to upload photos of genitalia, but aside from that, I don’t see an issue with positing until they can get an appointment. I don’t think anyone should use the internet instead of going to a doctor. But it also doesn’t help to jump to the assumption that they aren’t going to see a doctor. I mention it every time just in case, but I won’t act as if they had no intentions of seeking medical care.

I don’t think it matters. This is a community for help seeking advise or opinions and wondering if anyone has seen or had a personal experience that can relate, all that is exactly the point of this, or so I thought 🤷🏻‍♀️
