Rubella

Just found out through my first pregnancy blood work that I am susceptible to Rubella, which if contracted during pregnancy can cause miscarriage and serious birth defects.

I guess my MMR vaccine from when I was younger had worn off a bit on the R part! Anyone else have this happen? Was I stupid to not get blood work done before TTC? I'd say just naive..

Now I'm terrified because you can't get the vaccine while pregnant, and I work in a hospital of all places.

Internet says only one confirmed case of Rubella in Canada last year, but still stressin!
