I'm supposedly in the early days of my fertile week and cm seems to be a watery white lotiony consistency. Is this gonna prevent sperm getting through?

That’s pretty common. Most fertile CM will be more like egg whites. Clear and stretchy between your fingers. This may be only one day of your fertile week so be patient :)
