My boyfriend wants to name the baby Floyd Joseph Bossett IV, because he is the 3rd. His grandfather, the original floyd passed away last year. However I feel like there are enough Floyd’s already, his first cousin name is Floyd as well and they call him lil floyd. I said how about we make floyd as a middle name? Everyone else in his family agrees with not naming the baby floyd because it’s already several and what would we call him besides floyd? It’s not easy to come up with nicknames for that name. Idk. I said putting a name in front of it not to make him a fourth and making it easy for us to call him by his first name.
