So a little under a month ago, I was sexually assaulted. Unfortunately he was extremely rough with me and he kept touching my anus and then my vagina. A few days later I started experiencing a sharp pain, similar to the pain of a UTI. I’ve been bleeding, but it’s been like pink discharge or discharge with little pink chunks. I’ve felt an itching and burning sensation and it’s gone away here and there. I’ve also had a foul smell down there, almost like a bitter or rotting scent. I recently had sex for the first time in a while and it brought back the pain. The sex was painful as well. I’ve been trying to see my gynecologist and she hasn’t had any openings. I have no idea what could be wrong. Part of me has wondered if it’s vaginitis or a yeast infection. I do have an iud and my doctor didn’t really trim the strings which makes me wonder if it’s possible that they are carrying or holding a bacteria. I really don’t know what to do, I probably will go to planned parenthood tomorrow to get checked. But does anyone have any suggestions on ways I can take care of myself, limit the pain, or short term treatments until I can be seen? I’m only 18 and I don’t know what to do :(
