Skin tags

So I have a bunch of skin tags on my labia minora on both sides. I've been tested recently and I'm certain that it is not an std. I'm pretty sure that it's because of friction since they line up on both sides. I wouldn't mind them but it's starting to sting sometimes when they rub. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or do you have any advice on how to make it go away or make it manageable?

(I plan to go to the doctor soon but any advice would be appreciated until then)
