Sleep with a 7 week old?

Question

My 7 week old sleeps in the crib at night but during the day in the rock n play. She also doesn’t have a great sleep pattern yet for naps. How do I get her to start napping in the crib?!

I would just skip the rock n play and just keep putting her in the crib at night. She will get used to it eventually

My son kind of naps better out in the room with us for some naps. I put him in the crib when his big sister naps, though. Check out Mom’s on Call Typical Days for a good feed/nap routine. My son is already sleeping through the night after following their schedule. My toddler has also been a great sleeper after using it

Everything I’ve read is consistency is key so putting her in her crib will help get her use to knowing that’s where she sleeps. Also if they cry it’s ok it’s their way of learning to console themselves. My son sleeps in his pack n play and sleeps great especially through the night and at naps.
