Does anyone have a 4-5 month old mimicking 'Momma' or another phrase?

My daughter copies the sounds when I tell her I love her. She literally abbreviates it into three sounds, not just one long one. My dad heard it for the first time the other day when he was leaving and he started crying! Lol I can't  wait until she really starts to talk

So good to hear! It seems like she is recognizing sounds in words and repeating in her own little way.. I think it’s an important milestone and sign of good development. Two of my kids did this at different ages, but one of my kids never did... She also became a very late talker and struggled with pronunciation. We later found out she had been struggling with an auditory processing disorder—she can hear perfectly fine but her brain can’t always process what she hears. A speech therapist was surprised that her pediatrician never found it odd that she didn’t start mimicking sounds as an infant, and said it’s an important thing to watch for.

My lo started saying mama around 5 1/2 months. My pediatrician told me I was just hearing shit. So I recorded her. And clear as day she was saying “mama” 🤷‍♀️
