Late period - negative pregnancy test??

I need some thoughts!! We have been TTC. I have been off of birth control since March 2018 and my cycle has been normal. Maybe 1-2 days late here and there. I have never missed a whole period. I took a pregnancy test Saturday 1/5 (in the middle of the day, not morning) and it was negative. Should I go ahead and take another or wait a few more days?

Take another one and maybe go in for blood work. Are you feeling any symptoms? I also have a pretty regular cycle (32days), the one time I missed a whole period I went to day 47 with negative hpt and then I spotted, which turned into a miscarriage. The drs said I had low hcg which is why a Hpt didn’t show, but the blood work test did. Hopefully that is NOT your fate! But go get checked out ✨
