Does anyone have any experience with online baby showers? My fiancé and I moved far away from home, plus most of my friends and family are spread across the country.

My mother-in-law suggested the idea and mentioned she wanted to host for me. I’ve never actually met her in person, we’ve talked on the phone only a few times.

I’m just wondering when I should start the baby shower? I’m assuming it’ll be active for a while as I was planning on posting “thank you” videos as gifts arrive. (Kind of similar to those unboxing videos vloggers do)

I also plan on making it more personal than just opening presents. But I haven’t started officially planning yet.

Any advice or ideas is appreciated! I’m 16weeks tomorrow and just don’t know when to start this!
