Water births ?

This is my last child. I have two girls and then this baby. I have always been interested in water births, but I want more information about them like do hospitals do then ? What about obgy? Is it just midwives ? Does insurance cover them ? Anyone with an experience doing it ?? Pros and cons!! Tell me everything !

I had 2 waterbirth and am going to have my 3rd in August. I bought my own birthing pool, but you should check if your obgyn will do water births, because not all of them do. If you want to give birth in a hospital or birthing center check if they have a pool or if they allow you to bring your own pool. You van either buy or rent, just make sure you have a pool that is fully inflatable so you are comfortable,  with my first labor I had a bath that wasn't inflatable so I ended up feeling like I was sitting on the floor while giving labor and when I would hang over the side it would stop the circulation in my arms.

So the answer to all of these are: it depends. Some hospitals have them, some obs use them, some midwives provide them (some you pay extra to rent it), some only let you labour in there, some let you deliver in water etc
