Contractions at 27 weeks???

Question

I’m 27 weeks and I’ve been having sharp pains/cramps all over my belly. I haven’t felt the baby move much today as well. I don’t know what to do. I’m a first time mom and everyone keeps saying I’m overreacting but, I’m genuinely worried. Should I go to the emergency room tonight?

If you're worried you could always call. It could just be ligament pains or Braxton hicks. Drink a ton of cold water or a sugary drink and take a bath and see if that gets the little one moving. Or lay on your left side!

More than likely its Braxton hicks. Be sure to time them, if they have a rhythm of every 5 minutes for at least 30 seconds for more than 2 hours. I would definitely go in to L&D. Otherwise they will send you home. 
Drink something sugary and lay down, and count every tiny movement you feel with the baby if it is more than 10 movements in 1 hour the baby is fine. 
But mommy's instinct is always best, if something doesn't feel right definitely make a call or go in to see the doctor. 
I went into preterm labor with my second. I had contractions every 5 to 7 minutes for 10 hours even after drinking a gallon of water. I knew something wasnt right and I am usually the one who blows everything off like "it's not a big deal" 1
