Glucose test help???

Question

I just had my glucose test today, my level was 167. I was told I have to return after fasting for 12 hours and do another test that requires blood drawn every hour for 3 hours. Has anyone else had their glucose test come back high and then had normal levels from the following test?

I'm so nervous for this test. I spoke with my grandfather who's diabetic and he told me the worst thing for high blood sugar is stress and panic so I need to try and stay calm and relaxed or my blood sugar will come back high. It's just one of those things that I just don't need right now with getting ready for the new baby and my older daughter's surgery. I'm battling enough stress as it is. Thank you for the responses everyone!

Yes I went on the holiday sugar binge and then had to do my gtt. It didn’t turn out well.  The next was a 3 hour one and I drank a ton of water the day before and even at night. I also stopped eating around 9pm and I thankfully passed but that drink made me so sick later that night.

Yep! Three hour was totally normal!

Mine was 200 for my 1 hour I failed my 3 hour as well
