We have everything ready in our master bedroom and our sons bedroom; except the baby monitor isn’t hooked up or hanging yet. Our son will sleep in our room in his pack’n’play bed (we bought an actual mattress for it, it’s just covered by a blanket to keep dust off the sheet till he arrives), and we have our rocker in our master too. Once he goes to his room, we will move the rocker then. We want to have him take naps in his room after the first few weeks, to get used to it and not needing to ALWAYS be in our bedroom.

We went simple on design. My husband built the dresser and crib, and painted the whole room.
