Anyones baby get a cold yet?

My baby is 12 weeks old now and developed a chest cough, I feel so bad. Doctor said to use saline spray up his nose and then syringe out the liquid.. humidifier too. He is so uncomfortable sleeping it makes me nervous with his phlegm cough ☹️☹️☹️ ftm. So not fun. At least it's happening now versus when he was younger though. Anyone have any advice or words of wisdom as to how to get yourself through you baby's first sickness

My baby had her first cold at about 10 weeks. It was definitely sad to see her sick. Definitely use the saline drops and the nose Frida. We also put a little humidifier right by her bassinet which helped her. Make sure you watch for a fever. I think it’s harder on us than them!

Ugh my 13 week old has a cough too and its breaking my heart! I asked the doctor when I should start worrying and he said if it isn’t gone in a week they will check her to make sure no infection. I bring her into the bathroom and let her breath in the steam from the shower!

My daughter had bronchiolitis when she was about 8-9 weeks old and she was really poorly, we stayed over night in hospital for a night but they couldn’t give her anything and she just had to fight it on her own. I gave her calpol to begin with to bring her temperature down and the hospital said to give her calpol to help with her cough as that was the worst! I also used nasal drops. You can get calpol vapour plug ins to put in the room when sleeping which are apparently really good, I couldn’t use them as my daughter wasn’t old enough but I will in the future if she’s poorly. It’s heart breaking I know but if it’s any consolation she managed to fight it pretty quickly.
