Spending my sons 2nd birthday alone, as a single mum with no family. What do I do?

So my sons birthday is this sunday and I didn't realise it was getting so close!
I can't afford a present I don't drive or have a car and have no money. Everyone's working. I'm a single mum and have no friends so I'm wondering what I can do with my son to make the day a little more special than normal 😔

Have him help bake a cake! My son loves to help in the kitchen and a cake will be fun to make and eat.

I would bake a cake together, draw pictures, build a fort, etc just spend the day playing! I would also personally go to a thrift store and get him a new toy for cheap and wrap it up so he has something to open but not a big deal not having a present he won’t notice or remember

Just a day at the park with you and having a fun will be enough and that what he'll remember. Not gifts and stuff like that just you. stay string hun and don't feel bad your doing you best and you love him. That's all that matters xx
