No, I would prefer my partner respects my boundaries, because I have been shamed in the past over thing my exs didn't like, I couldn't trust them, they would nit pick about my messages or who i talked to and if i told them, even if it was really nothing to worry about. 
My privacy is mine. But yes im pretty open to share some things.
But I am not really willing to compromise my friend's privacy! Like it's not only my privacy at stake.
My friends confide things in me that are meant for me & me alone.
However, my phone is unlocked and left about because I trust my current partner. He would not snoop without my permission. 
He would not pick apart who i talk to and when and why and what about. 
I tell him quite a bit as it is.
I try to avoid sending messages which would bother him. The only things I guess, are messages about me being concerned about the relationship or about him, I don't think he'd like those but he actually does have to understand that I need to talk to other people about stuff that I care about. 
I don't have bad intentions and strive to protect his privacy as well, but still occasionally vent about the relationship to my very close friends. (We went through a difficult time recently,)
He says I can access any of his accounts or phone at any time, but I chose not to. I would not be comfortable reading private messages not meant for me, unless I really had god cause to do so.

there’s no reason for my boyfriend to know the passwords to any of my social media, email, etc. it’s an invasion of privacy. if you feel that this is a necessary thing in your relationship then you have serious trust issues.

My boyfriend knows my passwords, phone lock code, etc. but never checks it. I just make sure he knows these things so if i get in trouble or i need access to my stuff and he’s the one who can do it, there’s no problem. And the same goes with me. But we never check each other’s messages. Never had the need to do so.

Me and my husband are logged in as secondary accounts on each other’s phones for Facebook and messenger - mainly for convenience! So if one of our phones have died we can both still access our contacts through Facebook. Neither of us snoop, and even if we did check, we’re both very open with each other and have nothing to hide!
