When my mom was pregnant with me my nana ( her mom) bought her a beautiful rocking chair. She rocked me and my 2 little brothers in it. When I got married my mom gave me the chair and told me to save it for my babies and when my first born is married give it to them. While sitting on the couch today I was a little down finding out that if I’m not pregnant this month we will have to wait a whole 30 days to try started on the 11th of February (my husband is military). I looked over at the chair and had a beautiful idea I would restore it to its former glory for the (hopefully) soon to be nursery.

This will be even more meaningful than ever as my mom just recently found out that her cancer may be back, I would love to have a piece of her with me when I too become a mom. I can only hope to be as good of mom as her.
