Does baby still insist on bottle?

My girl refuses to drink milk from a sippy, day or night. She gets milk in a bottle before naps and sleep. Is this really a problem at this point?

I’m getting a lot of flack for it 🙄 apparently as soon as they turn one they should be off a bottle, that’s what the older generation is telling me. I slowly took bottles out during the day, and he really hasn’t seemed to notice. Like one week I took out his noon botttle, a couple weeks later his morning bottle, now he just gets his bottle before bed.  I think he’d be fine with out it, but I’m afraid he’ll wake up over night and I enjoy my sleep 🤷🏼‍♀️
I offer milk in sippys every meal. He does NOT like if is milk is in the same style cup as his water, which he drinks out of 360 cups.  So I’ve tried 5 different soft spout and straw cups, he has success with each for a day or two and loses interest. There hasn’t been on that he really latched onto. We’ve had the best luck with the take and toss cups, and the “bin” soft spout cups from munchkin I believe. (They’re in the big bargain bins at the bottom of the shelf). So basically the cheapest cups have been his favorite.

My daughter is refusing milk from a sippy. We are gradually reducing bottles. Nap and bed time right now. I’ve tried a variety of cups. She will drink water from them but not milk. We keep offering it though.

We switched to the Dr Browns bottles with sippy spouts at 10 months and are still on those. He still gets 4 bottles of warmed whole milk. He initially wouldn’t drink any milk from a sippy cup even though he drinks water from them all day. Just this past week I started giving him his morning milk in a straw cup to drink while I get his breakfast ready. He’s done well with that it just takes him a while to drink it. I plan on keeping his nap and bedtime bottle until 18 months, and trying to get him to drink his morning and afternoon milk from the straw cup. He’s eating real food better these days so after 18 months I’ll probably decrease the amount of milk I give him. He currently gets about 20 oz whole milk. I figure he’s still a baby and there is no rush to make him switch from his sippy spout bottle if he’s comforted by that before sleeping.

We’re working on ending the night bottle. I’ve been gradually increasing the amount she drinks from the sippy at dinner and decreasing the amount in the bottle before bed. She’s down to 1 ounce in the bottle so we’re close. 
Have you tried different kinds of sippy cups? I would just keep offering and trying. She’ll get it eventually!!

Once it was time for milk and not formula I used toddler formula for bottles and milk for cups. As my son doctor said if milk goes in bottles it’s harder for them to transition them to milk in cups. Do what you think is best for your baby.

My son only has around 12 oz of milk a day and we still use bottles. He has one when he wakes and then one right before sleep. We won’t be changing this until about 18 months or when we think he’s ready. It took us 10 months for him to take a bottle so we’re not rushing him just yet
