URGENT PARTY QUESTION!!
I’m having a party to celebrate my birthday this year and a close friend of mine asked me whether she is supposed to bring a gift or not.
My aim of the party is just to have a fun social gathering and gifts are always nice- maybe even a common curtesy for guests to bring to a birthday party. I don’t know how to answer her question without being indirect, rude or needy. What do I say?
