I’m getting my stitches out in a couple days I jus want make sure this looks normal it itches like crazy which I assume is part of the scabbing/healing process. This is on my breast they removed a lump to make sure it’s not cancer. P.s. I’m 15.

No no I don’t think it looks infected! I had stitches on my finger years ago and from what I remember that looks normal. The itching can be maddening I hope it lessens for you soon!

Nope your fine i had stitches in my knee a couple years ago it itches because its healing and the redness is the scar tissue your perfectly okay

Is there any discharge (specifically green)? Is the area hot? If yes then it may be on its way to getting infected but otherwise it looks fine.

Infection would be yellow/green. Red is fine.
