Adoption help

Long story short, ex (biological father has NEVER bothered, not ecen a 'how is she doing' etc...

My partner who has been involved since she was born and has raised her has his own, wants to adopt her. Local council says i have to ask bio father for permission to this which is fine i have no problem doing so.

I was originally blocked on Facebook so made a new profile. 4 days ago i messaged him, he blocked me. So made another and added him to group chat, he hasnt blocked me since but he is acknowledging i need to speak to him as he leaves the chat. So today i wrote a letter i will attach it below. Sent it to him tracked and signed delivery!

I broke down today as its getting to me so much, i dont know what else i can do, or whether i should keep trying. Any advice please? Im so lost x

Also to note at the start to end of pregnancy i also let him know dates and gave him scan photos etc and told him important stuff i thought he had the right to know about, ie. I had a big bleed at 17 weeks which was a threatened miscarriage, so only right i thought that i should let him know. x
