Boyfriend got upset for how i was at a gay bar

So I posted videos of me living my life and dancing with my gay guy friends at a gay bar.. you know like the typical dancing at a club.. twerking and shit.. but when i posted those, my boyfriend got upset.. my point is that.. i was dancing with GAY MEN... like to us.. dancing didn’t had any other meaning... like the 2 gay men i was dancing with was also twerking within each other.. literally the gay culture.. and that was so clear on the snaps.. but my boyfriend got upset.. i even told him that I dont dance with straight guys besides him.. his point is that gay guys are still guys.. I told him that my intentions are like platonic.. and like that was just dancing and partying.. like okay if he thinks that dancing with girls is okay.. isn’t it double standards to not be okay when its with GAY MEN... like I still care about my boyfriend this is why im stressing over this but i think him being upset is unnecessary.. like i know my boundaries.. i just needed him to be more open minded because its like not fair that he was giving me shit for this.. idk.. am i in the wrong ladies?
