When did your steri strips fall off?

They told me not to take them off but some are pulling on some hairs that are starting to grow out.

I was told that whatever doesn't fall off within the first week too pull off.

1 week pp at my appt they told me they would start falling off in week 2, she then told me after week 2 I could start pulling them off, I soaked them with water in the shower while pulling them off, made easier then I washed area w/soap.

I was told to leave mine on and let them fall off on their own. And if any are lifting just to trim them.

I was told I could take them off after 10 days if they did t come off themselves. I just removed them in the shower.

The first 2 c sections I left them on till about my 2 week appointment and 3rd the dr (not my normal ob) said after 1 week. I wish I would have just left them on the 2 weeks. I think it split my incision slightly so my scar isn’t as nice as it would have been otherwise.

After a week if they havent fallen off you can pull them off.

I was told the same. Called my obgyn after two weeks and they said not to pull them off. The day before my 6 week pp appt I pulled them off. I couldn’t take it anymore and I wanted them to see the incision when I went. My friends didn’t come off and the office didn’t take them off at her appt-I didn’t want to go through that
