Because my Mom did.

My mom used to crochet and made many blankets. She made one for a couple of my nieces, but never got around to finishing one nieces. Now, total I have 5 nieces and 2 nephews. She passed away in May of 2017. My sister had twins that December and my mom knew from the time my sister got her

IVF

that she was having twins. She dreamt it. I just wish she could be here to see them.

My goal for 2019 is to make each of them a blanket that my Mom never got to finish. So this year, I am teaching myself to crochet.

First up, my test blanket.

It is by no means perfect, but neither is life.

I hope this would make her proud.
