So, I went on two dates with a guy 5 months ago. They were great, we connected well and our conversation flowed with lots of similar interests. Then he didn’t respond to my last message at the time and my pride stopped me from reaching out again. We have since re-connected through online dating and he asked me why I stopped talking to him; I told him he ghosted me. He then sent me a screen shot of our conversation that he still had in his phone from 5 months ago. It showed he messaged last and my text didn’t get received by him. He said he thought I ghosted him. So we chatted a bit and he didn’t try and make concrete plans to hang out. I thought maaaaybe it was because he was shy and/or insecure due to him thinking I ghosted SO I initiated plans. He immediately responded and said yes. Then He said he was feeling sick and would let me know. He then said he thinks he was feeling better and came over. After about 1.5 hours he said he was really feeling sick still

And left. He hugged me good bye. Side note we have never slept together. He texted when he got home and apologized and said he was sick right when he got home. I wished him well and exchanged a few messages joking around with one another so I felt okay about things: That was Thursday. Now nothing in terms of him reaching out. Is he not interested and was lying about being sick or should I reach out!? It seems like he might be the shy and insecure type but again wouldn’t someone whose interested try and connect?
