Thick uterine lining and 42
Ok so I went to get all the tests done months ago to see why I was having issues with my periods. I had heavy clotting issues showing up at random times, extended period that lasted a month, etc. Did full work up and thought I had to be starting menopause or something. I have no kids & never been pregnant that I know of. GYN tells me I can still have a child & it’s not menopause..My hormone levels are fine but I have thicker than normal uterus lining. Ok so what do I do next? He said get my man’s sperm count first if I am wanting a baby My clock ticking, then we can do exploratory surgery to see what is going on. Do a d&c maybe. My boyfriend doesn’t want to do a sperm count & wants to see if it’ll happen naturally so I’ve been trying this app this past month. Followed it and had negative results when testing. Already confused about this thick uterine lining condition. He didn’t say it was endometriosis. I am unsure if any of you ladies have been told you have this? What did your dr. recommend? I’m 42. Not sure if baby will ever happen for me. Just curious now that the dr. said I can. I would love to try if I have a short time I must do something now. But I don’t wanna put myself through surgery or damage my insides with d&c if I don’t have to. Any comments?
