I’ve had 42 day cycles before. I had a 52 day cycle and decided that was a bit too odd and went to the doctor. She said it’s just irregular periods like I’m used to but a bit longer. Usually mine varied from 28-42 usually 36-42. 
So it’s not normal, but I wouldn’t be concerned. Just make an appointment with your OBGYN to assess the issue

It could be because your routines are changed. You might not eat the same as your used to, get enough sleep, or are super stressed and that can cause it to be delayed.
