Sugar the night before glucose test?

I just put cookies in the oven and I really want iced coffee but I have my glucose test at 8:45 in the morning if I remember  right I can have sweets just not after midnight correct?

Don't worry about it! My instructions said no sugar the day of. They actually sprung the test on me without warning and I had it in the morning after eating doughnuts the night before :/ Still passed so it was fine!

For my 1 hr no fasting and my 3hr couldnt eat after midnight and had to be in the office by 8:30am. I had my last cup of coffee around 10ish pm lol. If you cant eat or drink past a certain time just go by that no big deal. Good luck

My doctor told us it doesn’t matter what you eat if your taking the 1 hour test. She said eat like you normally would up until you drink the drink for the test. She did say if you have to take the 3 hour test that’s when food restrictions come in

I had donuts before my test. My doctor didn’t tell me whether to fast or not lol. I ended up passing but just to be sure I wouldn’t have anything after midnight maybe.
