I’m asking for a friend:

1. Because I have no clue what to say or do and 2. Because my friend is a male!

So long post and I’m going to do my best to condense it.

My friend was raped over a period of months as a kid. He told someone who told his parents and his parents didn’t believe him.

Since that time he’s been checked all cleared.

15 years later he’s been having issues with his bottom. I’ve taken him to the hospital and he’s told the Drs he’s been having problems they ask for his history and the minute he shares he was raped they proscribe him PTSD medication and don’t deal with the issue.

I’m at a loss with how to help!

Do I take him to a different state and have a different hospital look at him?

Does he keep the rape a secret?

How do I get him the help he needs I’m scared I’m going to go to his room and find him dead! He’s not suicidal but the issues he’s been having scare me.

He lives with constant chest pain, leg pain, shortness of breath, headaches and now bleeding out of his anus.

He’s been to the ER a few times all of them say:

it’s in his head

Or he has Acid Reflux.
