Belly piercing help please

I got my belly pierced just over a year ago and I apparently had really bad quality jewellery and it was red and sore in the middle. I bought a really expensive good quality jewellery in December weeks ago and was told the bruising should go away. It hasn’t gone away and when I was exfoliating I accidentally snagged the bruised/ red part and it started bleeding and now I keep getting fluid from that part. Sea salt soak doesn’t seem to work when I have infections or anything so I’m thinking maybe I should try out tea tree oil?
