Told my parents and my two best friends right away. Everyone else we told when I was 14 weeks. Wanted to already be in the second trimester and have my first anatomy scan before we went public. Just to make sure I didn’t miscarry again since we did at 10 weeks March of last year.

I'm totally worried and wondering this too! Miscarriages are way more common now and I worry about how hard it will be if I tell friends too early and then it happens. We have told immediate family on both sides and my cousin who is like a sister guessed. I hate not telling my best friend yet and wonder when is the best time? Wait until 12 weeks? This app says I'm 8w5d today but my US isn't until next Wednesday which my doc says I'll be almost 8w then. Ang suggestions?

Parents, siblings and best friends knew right away. They always say not to tell right away because something might happen so we thought - if something did happen, who would we need support from? 
My grandmas and a few close friends and the aunts and uncles I'm closest to knew around 14 weeks - we would have told at 12 but it took that long to get the results of our genetic testing back. Bonus, we already knew it was a boy at that point so we got to tell everyone! 
Official announcement was around 19 weeks, because my best friend from high school, who moved to the area as little over a year ago, is pregnant too! We wanted to do a joint announcement but she's 5 weeks behind me so we had to wait for them to be ready too 😁

Close friends right away; family 20 weeks when we had out anatomy scan. Never announced to social media. Due in March! Do what feels right for you 🌻 best wishes.

I told my 2 closest friends pretty early because I knew I’d have some kind of support if I had a loss! I didn’t tell family until after my first ultrasound, at 9 weeks! And I didn’t announce on social media until I found out the gender at 14 weeks!

Parents right away and sisters too also my best friend , the rest will wait until 2 trimester. (just to be safe )

We each told one friend the day we found out. Then we told all of our parents on Thanksgiving 13 weeks. Then we did our announcement for everyone else on Christmas Eve at 17 weeks. It is completely up to you what you do!
