culture clash example: 
cats are seen as rly dirty in his culture but i love my pet cats 😻

Not sure if it counts, but my native american husband wants to follow cultural tradition and bury my placenta...I think that's super weird.

I don't know if he is a practicing  Muslim or not but in Islam cats are seen as one of the purest animals. This is only relevat if he is a Muslim😅.

Yeah. Voodoo from the Haitian culture, I really REALLY dislike it. Also its not done to show feelings or talk about emotions. Very hard on himself but also on me and kids. If pressured into talking he will shut down for many hours or days. Concept of lies is VERY different. Concept of time and punctuality is also very different. They dont like animals too....

His whole country is so different,  they all live by the day. They are used to death and poverty. Im from a European country,  so you can imagine....
Its really hard to make this work.  it seems like I am the only one trying to make an effort.
