Second degree tear. Any mamas who had one?

First baby so i have questions 
Have you stopped bleeding ? Or how long did it take you to stop? 
How long did you wait to have sex ? 
Wait was your pain level the whole time?

Hi! I just had my first baby dec7 and had some second degree tears, mainly inside my vagina. The external tears healed after about 2 weeks and the stitches were dissolved. The internal stitches didn’t dissolve until about 5 weeks. I’m almost 6 weeks postpartum and havent had sex yet since the doc told me to wait until the 6 week checkup. I’m thinking about trying to have sex next week tho if the dr clears me at my appt Friday! The internal stitches were so itchy and poked me. That was the worst probably. I bled for about 4 weeks and still occasionally get some light spotting.

I had THREE second degree tears and stopped bleeding around 2 weeks. I had sex at 4 weeks postpartum and it hurt a little. Just had my 6 week appointment and am all healed up! Sex feels normal now😝 (I know I didn’t follow the rules and wait for sex)

I’m 6 weeks pp with a second degree tear and episiotomy and I still bleed a little but no pain at all!

I had two second degree tears that took 16 stitches (that’s all I know from what my husband saw/heard/was told, I was very out of it when they were stitching me up). It took 2-3 weeks for me to feel mostly normal again. The bleeding had mostly stopped then too. The pain the first two weeks was awful, definitely the worst part of the whole experience. I’m now 7 weeks pp and feel good, like I did before. Every once in awhile I will have very light spotting. I will be seen at almost 9 weeks pp because my doctor couldn’t get me in sooner. Haven’t had sex yet and I’m okay with that 😂 I feel a little bad for my husband, but he could spoil me a little (what’s a girl gotta do to get some flowers?? I already pushed a 7 lb baby out of my body and earned myself 16 stitches, what more do you want??) and I’d be much more likely to put out 💁🏼‍♀️😂
